In the past, I was in your shoes.  This is why I am so passionate about this subject.

My early career experience...

 

Those early years of my career were rough. I was in a national role, spending hours on the road and nights in hotel rooms. I knew I was working too many hours.

I'd take a step forward only to take three more back. I did not want to quit my job which I loved but I knew it was unsustainable to continue working that way.

When I returned to work I quietly started to work less hours.  To my surprise, six months later my company awarded me a bonus for the ‘significant additional contribution’ I was now making. The irony was I was working less hours and it did not feel as if I was working harder. In truth by working less hours I started to get more done.

👉 I’m busy.  How long will it take?
